    • Ink written labels attached to caps 
    • Safety pins (BK086)
  • Written list of contents of lower tray 
Accompanying note from 06.19.1945:

“I have brought in a medical case given by Dr. Oliver Smith by the widow of a deceased older physician , as a keepsake. It dates back to the 1880’s, I understand. If it is something which can be added to the collection here, Dr. Smith’s family will be glad to have it used that way.”
